Do yoy advice me to buy a LC8 now?

A friend of mine is thinking to buy a LC8. But he knows about my problems with the engine (head gasket, clutch, gear stick, etc). Any body knows if the units, those are made now, have all these problems solved?.

In Spain also, the dealer don´t import new units till all the older have been sold. Then there is only one orange one and two silver. All of them of the first serial. If you want a bike made now you must wait till March. What will you do?

I'm a gs driver and like to buy a lc8 next year, at expecting a final version.
Now, near end of season, I think it was a mistake to put on hold.

Mistake not by troubles on gs, mistake by loosing fun and action.
A lot of cl8 are sold, just several get problems like yours.

If you feel, your know dealer does the best, your friend should buy now, at a better price.
If you feel, your dealer is insecure, look for another own.

Hi,

I can just say that I have NO problems at all with my bike - in contrary, I am deeply impressed about detail solutions for making the bike rugged (but light) and quite crash-proof. There has no second been a bit of a doubt. It's my greatest bike I ever owned.

In May, I was also thinking to wait for the next year's model. After 4 weeks of close investigation I learned that there are hardly problems. If there were, KTM had a solution and the dealers were instructioned.
